Memphis Police Association Endorses Jim Kyle for Governor

Members of the Memphis Police Association, a group that represents over 2,000 police officers across the city of Memphis, today endorsed Jim Kyle as Tennessee’s next Governor.
“We feel that Jim Kyle has the experience to make the smart choices that will keep the children, families and communities of Memphis, and Tennessee safe, “ said J.D. Sewell, President of the Memphis Police Association. “He understands that we need our cities to feel secure and his record has proven that he is the candidate to make that happen.”
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Memphis Police Association,” said Jim Kyle. “Public safety is one of the top concerns of Tennesseans and I appreciate that the members of the Memphis Police Association have recognized me as the candidate that can make the choices that will keep our cities safe.”
“These men and women dedicate their lives to protecting and serving the people of Memphis,” Kyle said. “As governor, I will work to make sure that our police officers are properly equipped and well funded.”
