Jim Kyle Campaign—December 2nd, 2009

Members of the Mid-South Carpenters Regional Council today announced their statewide endorsement for Jim Kyle as Tennessee’s next Governor. The union represents over 6,000 members across the South.

“We know that Jim Kyle will work hard to bring jobs and opportunities to Tennessee and will help to strengthen the economy for all of us,” said James Kerley, Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the Regional Council. “ We feel Jim Kyle has a record that shows what kind of Governor he will be and is who we trust to lead Tennessee in the right direction.”

“I’m especially honored by the state-wide support of the Mid-South Carpenters. Once again, hardworking men and women have recognized that I can make the tough decisions and smart choices for Tennessee,” Jim Kyle said. “In this challenging economy we must work to bring jobs to our state and improve the quality of life for working families.”

After carefully considering all the candidates, the Carpenters chose Kyle as the candidate with the best chance of winning the Governors race and the person who will best represent the hard working families of Tennessee.

“Not only is Jim Kyle right on the issues, he is the candidate with the best chance of winning in the general election,” said James Kerley.
